AHI Roofing invented the Worlds first and original stone coated steel roof tile in New Zealand in 1957. The company now supplies to over 80 countries around the world under the brand of "Decra®" from 4 manufacturing plants located in New Zealand, Malaysia, Hungary and United States of America. All of our 4 manufacturing plants hold ISO 9001 accreditation, reassuring our customers of products designed to meet their needs and produced to consistently high quality standards.
AHI’s Malaysian company, AHI Roofing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is wholly owned by the New Zealand based Fletcher Building Roof Tile Group, which supplies Decra® Roofing Systems to Asia and Africa regions.

AHI Roofing's initial presence in Malaysia was through a licensing manufacturing agreement with a local company in 1985 under the market brand of “Decrabond®”. The Company has supplied to some landmark projects such as Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa Penang, Shah Alam Club, Tun Razak Hockey Stadium KL & etc.
In 2005, we brought back the Malaysian plant from the licensee to support our rapid regional growth in Japan, Southeast Asia and Africa, and established the Malaysia Sales & Marketing team in 2011 to focus on the Malaysia market. Since then we have supplied to some remarkable government projects such as New Istana Budaya KL, Mahkamah Alor Gajah, Mahkamah Sepang and re-roofing of Kudat Riveria Resort, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia KL Campus, Impiana Resort Cherating and etc. At the same time we established a Decra office in the Philippines to support our growing distributor and specifier network.
